These terms explain how you may use the Utah Preppers website at utahpreppers.com. By browsing or linking to this site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who we are

Utah Preppers is an independent, volunteer-run informational blog about emergency preparedness, survival skills, and self-reliance. It is not a corporation, LLC, store, school, or membership organization. Nothing on this page should be read as a claim that Utah Preppers is a registered company, licensed professional practice, or seller of goods.

Current editorial and site maintenance are described on the About page. Historical articles were written by past contributors and preserved after a WordPress-to-static migration.

What this site is

This is a static website. In practical terms:

  • Published pages are articles, listings, historical quotations, and a few informational pages such as this one.
  • There are no user accounts, comment threads, forums, shopping carts, paid subscriptions, or in-site support desks.
  • New posts, when they exist, are announced through the RSS feed. There is no newsletter signup on this site.
  • Older WordPress-era posts live under Archives. Current editorial lives under Blog. Historical / Second Amendment quotations live under Quotes.

Informational use only

Content is published for general education and discussion. It is not professional advice. In particular, it is not medical, legal, financial, engineering, firearms, or certified survival training. Techniques described on the site—food preservation, radio, tools, outdoor skills, and similar topics—can be dangerous if applied carelessly or unlawfully.

You are responsible for your own safety, for verifying current laws and local conditions, and for getting qualified help when a situation calls for it. Archive posts may include outdated prices, dead links, old product names, and leftover WordPress markup. Treat them as historical writing, not as a current catalog or a guarantee that a method is still sound.

How you may use the site

You may:

  • Read, bookmark, and share links to pages on this site for personal, non-commercial use.
  • Quote short excerpts with clear attribution and a link back to the original page.
  • Subscribe to the RSS feed in a reader of your choice.

You may not:

  • Copy, scrape, or republish articles, images, or substantial excerpts as your own work.
  • Misrepresent the site, its authors, or its content.
  • Use automated access in a way that overloads or interferes with the site or its host.
  • Attempt to probe, disrupt, or bypass the hosting or security measures in front of the site.

Intellectual property

Original articles, site design, and branding on utahpreppers.com belong to their respective authors or to the site operators, except where another license or attribution is stated. Historical quotations are attributed to their sources and are not original Utah Preppers writing. Third-party names, logos, and product marks belong to their owners.

Images under /images/ include migrated WordPress media. Some files were uploaded by contributors; others may depict third-party products. Do not assume you may reuse images off-site without checking the source.

Third-party links and product mentions

Many archive posts link off-site, including old retailer and Amazon associate-style links. Those destinations are not part of this site. We do not operate a store, process payments, or control whether a linked product still exists, is safe, or is fairly priced.

Mentions of gear, books, food, radio equipment, or other products are the authors’ opinions at the time of writing. They are not warranties, current endorsements, or offers to sell.

Availability

The site is provided as-is. Pages may be missing, redirected, or temporarily unavailable. A static export can include incomplete or leftover material from the WordPress years. We do not promise uptime, error-free pages, or that every historical URL still works.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, the site operators and authors are not liable for loss, injury, or damage that arises from using the site or relying on its content—including decisions about preparedness, purchases, or emergency plans. Use of the site is at your own risk.

Browser data

This site does not run user accounts or an in-page analytics script in its source code. Your browser may store a local theme preference. Ordinary web requests are handled by the site’s host (Cloudflare), which may apply its own security, caching, and logging. This page is not a privacy policy; it only describes how the static site is meant to be used.

Changes

These terms may be updated by posting a new version on this page. The “Last updated” date above is the notice of change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. That choice reflects the site’s Utah focus; it does not mean Utah Preppers is a registered business entity.
