Learn To Use The Forum

The UtahPreppers site is our attempt to help make our personal experiences in preparedness a little easier for people to learn from. Some people like going beyond this simple site to intertact more often, and a popular tool for this is a forum. Now instead of going out and hosting our own form, we felt it better to work with others in this matter. Because of the nature of our state, we have been giving our support to two separate forums out there, ldspreppers.com and the APN forum. Obviously the LDS Preppers forum encourages a community with a religious focus, for our LDS readers. But also we collaborate with the rest of the American Preppers Network, and have a channel on their for Utah specific discussions. One of the great features we get from this collaboration is that discussions not specifically related to Utah can be shared with other preppers around the world. It’s a great way to find more materials than we have time to post here on the blog. But we’ve heard from a few readers that were a bit timid about a forum. People that are not quite as experienced with that type of website, and how it works. To help with that, one of the APN members (NIP) spent an episode of the Prepper Podcast helping teach people the very basics of how to use the APN forums. If you’ve ever wanted to get involved in any forum, and would like to find a way to interact with the larger preparedness community, check out this episode of the Prepper Podcast (Turn it up though, was a bit quiet for me) which will hold your hand through the entire process of getting involved in the forum.
