Utah LDS Cannery (Home Storage Centers) are an excellent resource for Preppers looking to get good prices on staples for longer term storage. The centers are an integral part of the The Church of Jesus Christ, of Latter-day Saints welfare system. They utilize volunteer work to help prepare food for member welfare, as well as the LDS Church humanitarian programs. Church members are encouraged to volunteer time canning for these efforts, and are allowed to purchase items to help with their own food storage.

I wonder if you might have the recipe that I got at a local LDS Cannery for a taco soup using dehydrated refried beans. It was really good and I cannot find mine anywhere. I have gone online and there are others but not as good as the one I got there.
